Premium Components
All enclosures are made from die-cast metal, with brushed aluminium faceplates–100 % resonance optimised and stable. No plastic! Interior components were selected for their audiophile properties, especially in the high-end SE-series. Computer-optimised circuit boards and SMD-technology (Surface mount Device) are used for best sonic quality and short signal paths. All connectors are gold-plated for the preservation of signal quality and were selected for their superior connectivity.

Sound Quality

The available output power of our components should be more than sufficient for standard living rooms, in combination with most of the loudspeakers available.

Why We Picked Them

One of our very first product offerings! Back in 2004 we knew that analog, and especially vinyl, was really where the direction of Reference Media belonged. We needed to find a high quality manufacturer of record players. We contacted Pro-Ject’s North American distributor, Sumiko, and asked if we could become dealers. Their response was “Yes. You can become dealers, but you need to come to Berkley, California, for training.” We arranged to attend dealer training and the rest, as they say, is history. This was really the beginning of our shop, in a sense, because the staff at Sumiko were just so welcoming, knowledgeable, and skilled in the art of setting up and demonstrating their systems that we became dealers for several of the products they distribute.
